I recently completed a DPhil and MSc at the University of Oxford on the use of AI in high-stakes bureaucratic decision-making, with a focus on immigration and border control. I also hold an MA from Canada in Politics on the role of newcomers in reconciliation efforts with Indigenous peoples.
I secured $300k+ in doctoral funding, led Europe's largest AI student society (Society of the Year under my leadership), helped a team win a $60k Amazon grant for AI bias research, and founded an AI governance conference at Oxford with Anthropic as title sponsor. I also developed and scaled a DEI AI mentorship scheme connecting Oxford students with mentors from big tech.
I know how much a single 15-minute conversation can do for someone's direction and confidence. This is my way of paying that forward.
